Supply chain management
In conjunction with our production planning systems, we use computerised MRP software to plan, purchase and control our requirements.
These systems allow us to accurately schedule parts required by production and place orders in the most effective way. We maintain a large database of part manufacturers and global distribution to allow quick us to quickly select the best supplier to meet the manufacturing plan.
Our systems also allow us to properly manage changes, alternative parts, parts obsolescence, traceability and identify potential supply issues. We can also work from free issued parts kits, or as in many cases, a mixture of both purchased and free issued parts. When dealing with free issue parts, we can help manage this by using free issue purchase orders to request the parts required by the order.
