We are a long-established electronics manufacturer, using the latest high speed, precision machinery, we offer single, prototype and low to high volume in-house production, engineering, and assembly services to meet customers individual requirements.

How Much Does Electronics Manufacturing Cost?

The cost of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Assembly, Cable Preparation, Box Build or general Electronics Manufacturing will depend on the requirements and specification of the order. However, our pricing structure is very simple and is fundamentally set based upon material and labour costs, the better we can understand your requirements the more accurate we can be with our pricing.

Material Costs.
Electronic component prices can change rapidly, based on global demand, raw material cost fluctuation, political and environmental events. Costs are also very dependant on chosen suppliers, quantity and how far in advance we can purchase. Excess materials can impact costs, free issuing some or all of the required parts can help with this.
Material is costed to meet the requirements of the order, refer to our procurement page.

Labour Costs.
Our labour costs are based on expected manufacturing times, this in turn is linked to the information we receive detailing the order and manufacturing specifications. Labour costs change from time to time to reflect operating overheads.

Lead Times.
Quoted lead times are based on the material availability, our workloads and driven by the customer's requirements.

One-Time Setup Costs.
Sometimes cost are incurred in the initial setup of the item, this could be printed circuit tooling (although for standard requirements this is not normally the case), solder paste stencil, cutting plates or other tooling.
For small orders or prototype requirements different manufacturing methods are sometimes used to avoid setup costs.

Delivery Costs.
Delivery costs are applied depending on the requirements.

We can offer fixed pricing through longer term manufacturing agreements as well as manufacturing call-off's. This helps us to secure materials from the most economic sources.
We are always happy to work with customers to find ways to reach target pricing.
If you are looking for printed circuit assembly, cable preparation, box build or other electronic manufacturing services, we would welcome the opportunity to provide a no-obligation quotation for comparison, refer to our quotes page.
